Quack in Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini

Connect your Quack account to the AI assistant you already use. Ask it for a quiz on any topic and it builds a real Quack deck, ready to present. Afterwards, ask it how the session went.

Connector addresshttps://getquack.app/mcp

Connect it

  1. Claude

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors. Add a custom connector, name it Quack and paste the address. Then sign in to Quack and choose Allow.

  2. ChatGPT

Until Quack is listed in ChatGPT, adding it yourself takes developer mode: turn it on in ChatGPT's settings under Apps, then create an app with the address. Whether you can use developer mode depends on your ChatGPT plan, and at work on your admin.

  3. Gemini

In Gemini on the web, open Settings, then Connected apps, and add a custom app with the address. For now Google only offers this in the US and in English, to people 18 or older with a personal Google account (not a work or school one) who have Gemini's activity setting (Keep Activity) on.

What your assistant can do

Make decks
Quizzes, polls, word clouds, Q&A and presentation slides, written by your assistant and saved as a Quack deck. Quack checks every slide, and you get one link to present the deck and one to edit it.
Add slides
More questions or slides at the end of a deck you own or can edit.
Read your decks
So your assistant can build on what you already have.
Tell you how a session went
Question by question: how many answered, how many got it right, the votes and the averages, and which question was hardest.

What stays in Quack

  • Nothing can be deleted through the connector.
  • Results never include players' names or what they typed.
  • You approve your assistant on Quack's own sign-in page, so it never sees your password. You can disconnect it any time under Settings, Connected AI assistants.
  • It uses no Quack AI credits: your assistant does the writing.
  • When you connect an assistant, Quack sends it what it asks for on your behalf, and that assistant's own terms apply to it. Quack's own AI still runs in the EU.

Things to ask

  • Make a 10-question quiz on the water cycle for 12-year-olds in Quack.
  • Turn these meeting notes into a Quack deck with three polls to check we agree.
  • Add a word cloud to the end of my kickoff deck asking for one word about the project.
  • How did yesterday's quiz go? Which question did most people get wrong?
  • Make an icebreaker deck for a team of 20: a this or that, a word cloud and a short quiz.

Questions

Does it cost anything?
No. The connector is free on every Quack plan and uses no Quack AI credits. Your assistant's own plan may limit how many connectors you can add.
What can't it do?
It can't delete anything, and it can't run a live session for you. Presenting happens in Quack: open the present link it gives you.
How do I disconnect it?
In Quack, open Settings and find Connected AI assistants. Disconnecting takes effect straight away.
Can I change what it made?
Yes. It's a normal Quack deck: open the edit link, or find it under My decks.
